Stephanie is a freelance OT so her jobs do change. She has spent a lot of time working for WITS University including main health campus work and the Community Rehabilitation Worker training programme at Tintswalo Hospital (long ago now!). At the moment she supervises and examines 4th year OT students on their rural placements in Mpumalanga. Stephanie says “I love rural because we really make a difference to the people in rural areas and we get to see how powerful rehab can be. I found RuReSA while doing an internet search for something else. WOW it sounded like an amazing group ! Suddenly I was drawn into the EXCO and then the Office Co-ordinator work. I still think this is an amazing group of people to work with.” Stephanie is the “superglue” that keeps the RuReSA Exco together! We couldn’t do it without her!
